The Alibi

The Alibi - Sandra Brown Can't believe I won this as a giveaway. Thank you, goodreads! Thank you, Sandra Brown. I'm looking forward to reading it.

Heat Rises (Nikki Heat)

Heat Rises - Richard Castle I just finished the book. It was the best one so far and I hope there will be many more to follow.I liked it much better than the first two (not that those were bad or poorly written) and, again, it was full of inside jokes (recurring themes/characters from the show, references to Bond Girl, Castle, Firefly, Kate Sackett ...) mixed with a tragic plot and interesting twists and turns. I had no idea who the bad guy was until the very end, which I really like about crime stories/thriller.The relationship between the characters reminded me of the ones on the show, and they were great (and sexy). At first, I was a bit afraid that Rock would be just the boytoy for Nikki in this book (not that this is a bad thing ...) but I turned out to be wrong. He played a great part in the story and I loved him from his first appearance until the last. The only minor irks were how Richard Castle wrote the german character and how he used the wrong German words. Btw, "Horst" is not really a modern/common name here in Germany ... But I know how Hollywood deals with German characters/references and I am used to it. It was only minor and not important enough to only give 4 stars.5 stars it is - and I really, really hope we will get another book.

Glanz: Thriller

Nullpunkt

Nullpunkt - Lincoln Child, Axel Merz I've read better Lincoln Child books. They were never as great as the ones he writes with Douglas Preston but not bad at all. This one wasn't bad either ... just not as good as the others. It started kinda slow and boring. But the ending was better.

Kainszeichen

Ansonsten ... Weiter so, Sabine!

Dackelblick: Roman

Blindsighted (Grant County, #1)

Blindsighted (Grant County, #1) - Karin Slaughter This is the second time I read this book (and I plan to re-read the whole series) and I still enjoyed every single page. It made me realize how much I loved these books, the characters and their relationships even back in the first book.Everyone who hasn't read Karin Slaughter's book and who loves crime/thriller should read them. They start out amazing and get better in time.

The Line

The Line - Teri Hall A very slow start followed by a sudden end. Overall not bad but not the kind of book I enjoy reading. So I probably won't read the next one.

Infinity (Numbers)

Infinity - Rachel Ward I don't want this series to be over. It was such an interesting read and I really liked the concept of the books. The last one was a bit weaker than the rest but still fun to read.

The Silent Girl: A Rizzoli & Isles Novel (with bonus short story Freaks) (Rizzoli & Isles Novels)

The Silent Girl (Jane Rizzoli & Maura Isles, #9) - Tess Gerritsen For some reasons I can't put my fingers on, I didn't like this book as much as I liked the rest of the series. Maybe it was the plot and its background or the lack of personal backstories combined with the missing aspects of Maura and Jane's friendship? I don't know ...The book wasn't bad, but it wasn't awesome either. 4.5 stars

Fallen (Georgia Series)

Fallen (Georgia Series) - Karin Slaughter There aren't many books that could keep me up all night when I actually needed my sleep. This is one of them.I loved it from the first line to the last and it made me want to re-read the whole series (or, actually, both series again and again). At first I wasn't a fan of the Atlanta spin-off, but now I'm an even bigger fan (and a hardcore shipper - go figure ...). When will the next book be released??

Das letzte Kind: Thriller

Das letzte Kind: Thriller - John Hart Wow ... just wow. A great plot with so many twists and unexpected turns that I still don't know how many times a 'WTF' formed in my head and I asked myself how I could not have seen it before. That's how a thriller should be written. My first John Hart book, but not my last.

UR

UR - Stephen King It took me a while to get into the plot but once I did I couldn't stop reading. Unfortunately, there wasn't much to read since it's just a short story. But still a great story. King hardly ever fails me.

Naked Heat (Nikki Heat)

Naked Heat - Richard Castle I want September. Now!Loved the book. So much better than the first one. Not necessarily the best book ever but great enough for a fangirl like me ;)

Heat Wave

Heat Wave - Richard Castle I really want to give this book 4.5 stars. It wasn't over the top as most other books I gave 5 stars to, but the idea alone - to really write this book that is featured in a TV show and with that make it more than just fictional - deserves more than 4 stars. Thus, 4.5 stars it is.

Erbarmen

Erbarmen - Jussi Adler-Olsen Wow, this really seems to be an alternative to the Millenium series. A slow start, but an explosive and emotional ending. Can't wait to read the next one.
